Background: Longtime PRCA stock contractor Bennie Beutler and his son, Rhett, joined forces in 2001 to form the Beutler and Son Rodeo Company. It had formerly been

 known as Beutler and Gaylord Rodeo Co., from 1989 to 2001. The Beutler name has been synonymous with the stock contracting business since 1929. Bennie’s

 grandfather, Elra, and his greatuncles, Jake and Lynn, began supplying stock to Oklahoma and Texas rodeos more than 70 years ago. Bennie Beutler has

served as assistant NFR manager since 1982; NFR chute boss, 1979-80; member of the PRCA Rules Committee, 1980; stock contractor representative on the NFR

 Committee, 1981-82; member of the PRCA board of directors, 1989-91; and is served as Stock Contractor Director on the PRCA board until

2004. He was the PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year in 1997.
